NAME INSPIRATION

Schwarzbier comes from around Dresden, which Hoosier-native Kurt Vonnegut wrote about in Slaughterhouse Five. Montana Wildhack is a model / porn star who has a relationship (and baby) with the main character, Billy Pilgrim.

FOOD PAIRING

It also pairs well with smoky cheeses like German Bruder Basil or a simple smoked Gouda. Or if you’re looking to enhance the fruit notes in the beer, pair it with a creamy, cranberry-blended cheese, like Wensleydale.

Kind of caught me off guard for a hefeweizen. The passionfruit flavor is great, it's a beach, porch, or even a dinner beer. Big Lug Brewing got it 100% right with this flavor combination.
